Argilla- Argilla has some of my best relationships in camp that I REALLY FAIL at maintaining. I enjoyed her SO MUCH when I first got her in, and I still love playing her, but for some reason I never feel as inspired to get her out as I do with other characters. Still, I love her. She would also be the drop I felt the most guilty about if I did drop her.

DROP? I'm pretty solidly no on this one. Due to the fact that I spent EXTENSIVE TIME planning on downsizing my line up, I was actually planning on dropping her, and even once I was prepared to BREAK THE NEWS to various parties...ended up not doing it just because I love her and didn't want to )= So I got over THAT MOUNTAIN, I think she's pretty safe now.

PLANS? I really REALLY fail for not having her kill Bat a few times yet. I also want to go on the GROUP DATE with Roy and Roland. Also a general need to reconnect with her cast a little. Also a general need to get out and meet people more. She's actually one of my easiest characters for connecting with other people, but I never seem to keep those relationships up for more than a few threads >|

Ed- ......i can't really fathom dropping Ed. I dunno. Maybe a year or so after FMA ends, which won't happen for another year. So. .....nnnnaaah. he doesn't get out as much/maintain threads as well because I'm so USED TO HIM (also EVERY TIME i bring him out I end up bitching about icons, because EVEN THOUGH HE HAS MORE THAN ANY CHARACTER. IT IS NOT ENOUGH. AND FUCK YOU LJ WHY WON'T YOU LET ME HAVE MORE). I really need to make more icons for him and rearrange his set a little so I don't feel like I'm missing certain emotions >| ....but yes these are like. my main concerns.

Luke- HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT THE TOA ANIME IS AWESOME? I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE. FOR IT'S AWESOME. AND YOU SHOULD GO WATCH IT. That said, I question Luke's voice sometimes lately. Not STRONGLY just... I've hit that point with him, that I hit with all of my long term characters, where I really start to notice how much they've grown while I've been playing them. Now, LUCKILY. Amazing character growth is VERY MUCH CANON for Luke. But still, he has more confidence and more intelligence than he did when I started with him, and sometimes that's a little odd. I really need to replay his game )= But I DON'T WANT TO RESTART WITHOUT ALL OF MY COOL POWERUPS sob ps3 why won't you use a ps2 memory card I HATE YOU.

Reborn- REBORN IS MY SOUL ANIMAL. That said, I haven't played him in ages or felt compelled to play him in ages. WHAT I REALLY NEED TO DO is reread canon. So that I... care. Again. ATM I have no real plans for him and he's sort of been pushed to the background, brought out only as a plot device for my other characters (MUCH LIKE CANON HAS DONE TO HM LATELY. LOLO) I still love him forever and enjoy being horrible with him when the urge arises, but between my general tiredness/moving away from camp, he hasn't been getting out.

Snake- Snake is. o. o so turbulant for me. First of all, he's the most difficult character I have. JUST YOU KNOW. IT'S THAT HE'S MY HERO. FOREVER. AND MGS ARE MY FAVORITE GAMES. EVER. AND HE'S BIG BOSS. AND. STUFF DX also half of his cast is in camp and they are ALL GAY FOR HIM. because. he's big boss. and they are all SO AMAZING. but basically. I LOVE SNAKE FOREVER AND THEY ARE MY FAVORITE GAMES and playing your heroes is always hard DX This is how I failed at Dante. So IDK! I love him. I actually think I'm pretty okay with him... when he gets out, it's just very difficult to maintain threads and it takes necessity to GET me to thread. The ACTUAL THREADS are often amazing.

DROP? nooooooottt at the moment. I plan to hang onto him for a few more months. I don't want to drop him knowing I haven't put in the proper effort to play him more and get comfortable with him, or I'll always feel bad. Check back with me in march.

THAT'S HOW GOOD HE IS. Also I don't play him enough but =\ I do love him

DROP? THAT SAID... i'm weighing my options right now, but most likely. I want to app one more time at least, and I know there will be MORE TIMES. and I still have eight characters and want to cut that down. I definitely don't want it to get up to ten again. I just don't have the time, and ultimately that means getting rid of some characters, no matter how much I love them. Vash has the least connections to worry about.

Background

♢ Ticky remembers being a human very clearly, and he enjoyed those times, though he won't talk about them in specifics (until I get Actual Flashback info). However, certain things he will say is that:

♢ He's an orphan, and was raised in an orphanage until he took permanently to the streets

♢ He made money in whatever way was immediately convenient, from theft, gambling, cheating, to selling himself.

♢ He had a number of friends, they would come or go, live and die, work with him or move on. He was fond of them in a somewhat detached manner.

♢ He's always been smarter than he acts, and was something of a go-to guy when things needed to be done. Despite this, it was largely street smarts, and he had no interest in learning to read or anything, which is why he didn't know how until he became a Noah.

♢ He's also always known he has a pretty face. It scored him extra cash at some, ahem, jobs. But since a lot of the people he respected growing up (other hobos) were certainly not pretty, and he was probably made fun of for it, he really doesn't CARE that much unless it's immediately being useful.

♢ His interest in 'being a man' starts from these years. It has less to do with typical manly actions (sports, drinking, womanizing etc, though he liked all of those) and more to do with baring responsibility, facing forward, and making what you want of your own life.

♢ Though he never tried, he really didn't have the opportunity to attend school.

♢ He would steal from school kids though, or flirt with school girls.

♢ Though not always moving from town to town, he became fond of it at some point, and never really stopped train hopping.

♢ Despite being a 'hobo', as he got older he made most of his money legally. He's worked a LOT OF jobs, ranging from farm work, factory work, mines, construction, logging, etc.

♢ Because of this, he's got basic know-how on a lot of life skills. He can, among other things, sew, weld, install glass/tile/basic plumbing, lay brick, butcher live stock, hoe a field, milk cows, etc.

♢ Becoming a Noah wasn't the first time Ticky was cleaned up and put in a suit. He totally got picked off the streets for LAST MINUTE SERVANT HELP BIG PARTY EAT ALL THE LEFTOVERS YOU WANT type situation and went whoo \o/ meeee. So he was dragged in, made to bathe, shave, and shoved in a suit that only needed a few pins to look tailored. He wasn't an AMAZING servant, but wasn't a bad one either. He kept eating food off to the side, though. And got hit on by quite a few tipsy women. The hostess got TIRED OF THIS and kicked him out toward the end of the night. He stole some nice silverware on his way out.

♢ Though a thief and liar and general ruffian, Ticky did have a good reputation as being a reliable worker and friend among his breed. He never thought about it much, nor worked hard to gain/keep that reputation. It's pretty much just naturally how he is.

Black

♠ Ticky actually considers acting like a lord the most obnoxious part of his existence as a Noah. Though he has two lives, he is very particular about the fact that neither of them are fake. Pretending to be interested in dance, politics, and pretty fluff-brained young woman IS a lie and a very, very dull one.

♠ However, he doesn't really mind the other aspects of being a lord. He genuinely likes most of the clothes, the servants, the beds, the good food, and while he still doesn't consider it 'his thing' can understand why people get so fanatical over having all of it.

♠ That said. Being in full lord dress is something that's fun once in a while. And if he can't wear hobo clothes all the time, prefers to go with just pants and button down.

♠ And he LIKES the leather pants, and they look good. And he's hot.

♠ Ticky can use Earl Magic to go from full hobo mode to full lordling mode in an instant. But generally speaking he'd prefer to just change clothes.

♠ Ticky's closet is rather well organized. He has a rack for pants, shirts, coats... etc. Grouped by fabric, then color. Except for the 'pile in the corner' which is where all of his hobo gear goes.

♠ Ticky looevs his Tease and thinks they are the prettiest thing he's ever had. But since saying that is NOT MANLY and would result in him getting made fun of. He doesn't.

♠ It took Ticky a while to get used to sleeping on comfortable, fluffy beds when he first became a Noah, and would frequently relocate to less stuffed couches or chairs.

♠ Ticky was not at ALL philosophical until he became a Noah. Though he had certain Rules To Live By, he never thought deeply about humanity or it's actions, or his power in his own life, until he started going crazy.

♠ None-the-less he was never stupid, so rationalizing his obvious change in mindset and how it was effecting him/was likely to effect him in the future lead to a lot of introspection.

♠ If you want to be technical, on some level Ticky's rather bitter about the fact that his life has been thrown from one end of the spectrum to the other by choices he never got to make. But since he doesn't want to be a bitter, whiny (UN-MANLY) person, he insists he made his own choices. Which is also true.

♠ Due to the whole "Noah are the Earl's sacrifices" thing, Ticky rather expected to be dead by now.

♠ The deck of cards Ticky uses was a gift from the Earl. He only has ONE deck now, so whatever people think about how he cheats, he uses only the one deck to do it.

♠ One of the parts of his white life that Ticky can't cover up is the boyish part of him that likes COOL THINGS. Like space ships, robots, and talking dinosaurs.

♠ The pierced ears are mostly Sherril's fault. He insisted Ticky would look DASHING, and then showed up with earings one day. Ticky allowed it because he could always take them out and let them heal, but he ended up liking them.

♠ Back home, Ticky would be sent a lot of gifts from various pining noblewomen. He eats the food and throws the rest of it away, rather than donating it to charity, assuming the ambitious will be going through their trash to get what's worthwhile, and ambition deserves a reward.

♠ Though not notably bad at it, Ticky can't really cook. He just has enough common sense to make decent meals or follow recipes.

♠ Given the choice, he likes homemade meals with a lot of meat and carbs, but will eat anything. He will even eat anything raw. He never gains any weight, because the tease eat all of the excess.

♠ When really drunk in his black mode, Ticky starts haphazardly playing with his powers. He's never actually killed anyone like this, but doesn't rule out the possibility. Killing someone while drunk would just be a waste, rather like a one night stand with a really hot woman that you didn't perform well for and won't get a second chance at. As such, he doesn't get smashed often when in his black mode.

♠ And it takes a LOT to get him smashed.

♠ Though, Sherrill's probably taken advantage of him at least once when he was Very Tipsy.

♠ Ticky did start reading the bible once. And he got bored the first time it started doing a list of names. So.... basically he's read the first bit about Adam and Eve, and that's it.

♠ Ticky both does and doesn't like being the Earl's assassin. He has no issues with killing exorcists, but killing random strangers he knows nothing about has less appeal. There is no connection, they don't know what they 'did wrong', there is nothing to torment them about, and it basically provides less of the distractions he enjoys. Still, he DOES enjoy killing people, and Ticky isn't one to split hairs.

♠ While he's NEVER considered himself a artist, and doesn't think of what he does to corpses as artistic, since becoming a Noah (or since becoming a Lord?) he's started to really recognize the attractive qualities of things which look clean, dramatic, and subtly just wrong. This is why, though not very religious, he hangs bodies in crosses, weaves chains into their organs, and doesn't get blood everywhere.

♠ Similarly. Repeat performances just aren't as fun. He wants to kill someone once, do it right, and move on. This is the primary reason he's not a mass murderer, and doesn't repeatably kill the same people (Abel being an exception).

♠ Killing people aside, Ticky's clever but rather straightforward, and isn't terribly creative. His power would be VASTLY more dangerous in the hands of someone with a creative imagination and a decent grasp of science.

♠ "I'm not willing to die for this" isn't a thought Ticky has ever really had. He's very much an all or nothing guy, and doesn't divide things up by risk. He doesn't WANT to die, he's just very zen about the fact that it will happen and he doesn't worry about it, or place special note on the possibility that it might happen. As such, he'd be willing to die for a friend as well as a cause.

♠ This is DIFFERENT from Ticky's issues about HOW HUMANS GIVE IN AND DIE because humans generally WANT to live, just not enough to endure whatever they are going through atm. Ticky will endure anything for what he WANTS he just isn't particularly attached to living.

♠ All in all, Ticky feels the Noah is vastly larger and stronger than himself, virtually unstoppable. This is why he LAUGHS at the idea of Allen separating them, and thinks it's incredibly naive that Allen would even have the thought.

White

♡ The genki, touchy, loud, fun way Ticky acts in his white life is 100% genuine and not forced. He is, deep under his Noah Training, a happy, dorky exuberant guy.

♡ But it still SEEMS KIND OF WEIRD to act that way when dressed like a young nobleman, and taught a culture where that sort of thing is utterly not okay, so it really doesn't occur to him to act like that in his black life.

♡ Ticky is all around more confident, comfortable, and happier as his white self.

♡ Which isn't to say that he's unhappy as his black self. But his Black life is more firmly on the side of PLEASURE, the Noah and sating that desire, where as the White life lives predominantly within the loophole of simple Fun and Comfort.

♡ He knows, though, that this IS a loophole and it's why he will eventually lose his white life completely, never his black.

♡ Since Ticky no longer has anyone doing his laundry, you can probably spot White!Ticky doing Black!Ticky's laundry sometimes, but never his own.

♡ In general, Ticky is legitimately a Very Handy Worker. He's quick, reliable, doesn't complain much, only expects his fair share, and honestly enjoys work for the sake of work. This is true to both his white life and his black. Note that, Allen excepting, he's the only Noah to kill everyone he was assigned to get rid of. And EVERYONE ELSE only had to kill one person.

♡ Ticky lacks an ear for music, but knows a hell of a lot of inappropriate bar songs.

Camp

♣ Ticky is not one to get attached to physical items, and as such has no objects he really cares about. While he still has the buttons of the exorcists he's killed, that's because, in his mind, they belong to Eas and he needs to give them over.

♣ Since camp is such a SHIFTING MASS, facts which aren't regularly presented to Ticky tend to be quickly forgotten. I.E. his boyfriend turns into a dog when hugged by girls. Exorcists other than Allen Walker and Rabi are even In Camp. Roy is still mad at him over dying horribly. Etc. Along with the names of faces of just about everyone he doesn't talk to regularly.

♣ That said, once someone leaves an imprint it's pretty much stuck. Ticky doesn't notice or care about the business of people leaving camp/returning without their memories and what not. He doesn't notice it, tends to forget they've forgotten, and doesn't distinguish them as different people.

♣ Which is why he'll always be reasonably fond of Roxas, regardless of how twitchy and mistrustful new!Roxas is of him.

♣ Unless there is an actual reason not to, if people ask Ticky to do something he'll generally do it. People tend to get stuck on the whole "you're a crazy murderer" thing, but outside of that, he doesn't see a lot of issue with taking an extra few steps to help someone out.

Physical Traits: Can be white or black. White is characterized by DUMB AND HOBOISH and black is SEXY and also SEXY. Hobo always wears the same thing, lordling will wear a variety of stylish clothes.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Anything. Shoot. Just be aware he may get distracted and decide to kill you.

Abilities: Orz. OKAY THE MAIN REASON I'M REDOING THIS IS SO I CAN SHOW YOU TICKY'S VARIOUS ABILITIES, AND EXPLAIN WHAT I CALL THEM. Working our way up in power level.

Tease- are maneating gollumns that basically infest Ticky's body. They are stored as an energy, so you won't see them if you cut him or anything. But he can release them at will. They glow blue, come in just about any size, and have teeth.
Tease Eggs- To ADD TO THE DISTURBING SHIT. Ticky can have the Tease reproduce by planting them inside a human body and waiting for them to eat them from the inside out as they hatch. It looks like exploding.
Butterfly Aura- Is when Ticky just IS SURROUNDED BY ENERGY. Tease energy is characterized by being white. He can use this to defend or attack. Or to just EAT OTHER ATTACKS, including ones made by Innocence.
Butterfly Blast- Is when he just shoots with the butterfly aura. May not actually be fully covered in an aura at the time.
Butterfly Shield- Then he can also make more specific shields! Used mainly for defending against strong offensive attacks.
Butterfly Laser- His butterflies can CAN ALSO SHOOT LASERS

Dark Matter Rapist Aura- This is a different, more powerful type of energy Ticky uses to break down Innocence WHILE attacking. The aura is mallable and can be a black ball, or even tentacle hands.
Dark Matter Blast- Takes a bit longer to charge up, hurts hella lot more. The sort of attack you should really just get out of the way of.

Ability to Choose- And of course, that which he's best known for is his ability to choose what he wants to touch (and apparently even how he wants to interact with what he touches). This allows him to walk on air or water. reach into the chests of young boys, or even deny the very atmosphere creating a very painful vacuum.

LoloNoah- Not used in camp yet, but if he EVER COMPLETELY LOSES IT and his Noah takes over, it looks like this. Noah!Ticky has a whole skillset of his own that Black!Ticky doesn't even tap into (yet?).

ArtEEST- And lets not forget his penchant for leaving a stylish scene behind him.

Other- Ticky has, no doubt. Far more abilities than this, given uh. How much you can do when you just REJECT SHIT all over the place. In camp he's able to turn invisible by rejecting light from hitting him. That said, he's smart but not well educated/terribly creative, and really doesn't use his abilities to his full potential.

Notes for the Psychics: Uh. YEAH. HE'S STILL CRAZY. He's got a 'voice' in his head that is pretty much perpetually reminding him to enjoy himself and that killing people, especially killing EXORCISTS and INNOCENCE is a good idea. He thinks about killing people the way most guys think about sex, which is to say it occurs to him roughly every five seconds but he really doesn't act on it that much (but it's VERY easy to distract him with it). Other than that, Ticky's not really a DEEP THINKER and so it's mostly Shigure, and whatever he's talking about/doing. A general feeling of restlessness/boredom unless he's immediately being entertained by something.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: DO WHATEVER YOU WANT I'll respond accordingly. Ticky can reject anything physical, he may or may not choose to, depending. If it's non-violent he'll usually allow it.

Maim/Murder/Death: I'm not really allowed to get Ticky killed again. But killing YOU is fine. Most likely if he decides he wants to kill you, I'll poke you OOCly about it. Trying to kill him does not necessarily result in him trying to kill you, but uh, obviously it ups the chances. So be wary.

Cooking: He's gotten into the habit of eating cooked food in camp. He mostly makes sandwiches, but can do other basic things. No CHEF but it's edible. And he'll do it without whining so that's a bonus.

Kissing/Hugging: suuuure.

COUNTER ESSAY to Ticky being a boyfriend ?!/!

UNLIKE Shigure, for Ticky the biggest 'issue' to being a boyfriend is... being a boyfriend. As far as relationship progression, there is no real problem. Ticky is the Noah that has relationships, loves humans, and is crazy enough to kill what he loves. ALL NORMAL. Which isn't to say that there weren't changes in their relationships. There are basically two! The first is when ticky starts to want something from Shigure, the second is when Ticky.......falls in love with him. Sob confessions.

THE FIRST is pretty hilarious, actually. Ticky saving Shigure's life, a big deal to Shigure that lead to a lot of CONFUSED AND ANGSTY CONVERSATIONS with Kira, was in no way important to Ticky. He saved him because he wanted to save him. He could and would have just as easily done the same thing with any number of people, and he didn't see Shigure as being in any way indebted to him, since Ticky didn't do it for Shigure's sake. Watching people die at SOMEONE ELSE'S HANDS doesn't do anything for Ticky, so he has no reason to not save them if he'd rather be having a conversation with them.

What DID change their relationship was later, when Ticky was suggesting, rather half-heartedly, that Shigure would like to sleep with him. And after a little clarifying, Shigure admitted to it. THAT was genuinely unexpected. Now Ticky had found Shigure sexually attractive for a long time before that, but never seriously hit on him or seriously thought of them doing anything. Shigure HATED him and would never agree, rape isn't really Ticky's thing, it just didn't seem like it would ever happen and Ticky isn't one to waste wishes upon the impossible. He gets a lot of enjoyment from Shigure otherwise, and was happy to have that.

BUT Shigure admitted it. And then... seduced him. And then used sex to save Raphael. And uh. Ticky got to get to do hormonal things \o/ And enjoyed it. And AS IS THE WAY WITH SEX. Wanted/wants more of it. And for the first time in being camp for nearly two years, finds the no sex rule frustrating. For you see, Ticky is driven by PLEASURE, not necessarily sexual, so he doesn't want for sex much more than anything else, and he wants for killing more than almost anything. It's VERY HARD for him to do something like have sexual relations in his black life and NOT get distracted by just killing them instead. So it REALLY hasn't been an issue, and it only is with Shigure because on one level he so purely doesn't want to kill him that it reasonably well counters the part of him that purely DOES.

ANYWAY. Courtesy of... getting make outs, Shigure obtained the power to give Ticky something he wanted and couldn't get by himself. Which leads to Ticky actually wanting something of Shigure, which has NEVER HAPPENED. Since on an average day Ticky is just as happy if Shigure is happy with him as infuriated. And all in all Ticky didn't MIND this change, it just was a change.

As far as falling in love with him... and I think this is the first time I've admitted that publically. lol. *shrug* I can't tell you when that happened. Though I could narrow it down if I looked up old conversations with Puppy. I know Ticky's LOVED him for a while, but he's someone capable of that, so it's not particularly alarming. In my LAST ESSAY I said he could only love people platonicly. So uh. There went that. I suppose it's not uncommon for people who have never fallen in love to think they can't until they actually do. It's not, by any means, a pure love, or one without sexual basis, and it doesn't change the fact that Ticky would still enjoy killing him, and still likes to see him in pain, and doesn't empathize with Shigure's feelings and finds it fascinating when he cries. He's CRAZY. He just loves him too.

It's not a MONOGAMOUS love, and being Shigure's boyfriend has nothing to do with being in love with him. Ticky would really be perfectly fine if they broke up. He likes the boyfriend thing mainly because he gets to touch Shigure whenever he wants now, and Shigure is nicer to him, so it is NOT WITHOUT IT'S PERKS. But the perks have nothing to do with his feelings. Similarly, it's not a monogamous love, and he's unlikely to shun other people/get jealous because of it. Being ABLE to love is also a Pleasure, so he's sort of awkwardly aware of it, he doesn't mind. He's moderately embarrassed enough not to talk about it but he wouldn't deny it if it came up.

At the same time, being in love with Shigure and expecting things from him puts a new level to their relationship, and gives Shigure a certain degree of power. Ticky doesn't really get SAD but he CAN be disappointed or upset or twitchy. He often ISN'T because things like that are the result of expectations not being met, and Ticky RARELY expects anything of anyone, or life in general. But now he does of Shigure, so when he gets the impression that Shigure expects him to stop doing what he does (kill angels) because of their relationship, he gets twitchy and calls it off. It's ONE thing to get mad at him over killing Rabi or Michael, but some RANDOM UNRELATED ANGEL? That's asking too much. So in that case, the expectation is that Shigure wouldn't expect him to change that much. IT TURNED OUT that wasn't Shigure's problem, so they got back together. Ticky doesn't mind if Shigure wants him to not get hurt. He doesn't plan to fight any less because of it, but it's rather cute to wish for.

FOR THE RECORD, Ticky's expectations of Shigure are still relatively low. He more or less assumes Shigure doesn't really care about him, is genuinely surprised that Shigure thinks of them as friends, and so on and so forth. Since they ARE friends he expects a certain degree of respect for his choices and what he is, but not for Shigure to love him in turn or anything, nor is he making any effort to strive for it. Lately he frequently makes Shigure happy in little ways, this is because Ticky enjoys doing stuff like that with friends. He's not really any more or less of a bastard, though he is more sane, and more likely to stay more sane for the time being.

IRC I'm pretty much never in IRC anymore. It's jsut very distracting and my time feels very limited lately. If I AM in IRC it's usually in restricted chan anyway.

Alternatives aviychan at gmail is the best way to get in contact with me. I'll approve anyone on my gmail account and if I'm online I'm on gchat. I'm always listed as busy so just ignore that. Also general email is a good way to get to me too. I may not reply (to gchat or gmail, sometimes) but unless there is an error I'll see whatever you said.

Also, WIFE. Now I don't really encourage using my wife as a telegraph to get to me, but we do live together. So if it's urgant or whatever, find Snake and you'll know what I'm up to.

Style I don't... caare? If you have crit, email me. Seriously there is no other way to crit me anymore. But if you just want to chat, I don't mind being poked. I'm not always a GRACIOUS HOSTESS so be comfortable with not always getting replies/immediate replies. I tend to just walk away from the computer sometimes, or stop paying attention, or whatever.

THREADING

Playing frequency Very bad lately. I'm kind of tired and strung out and enjoying certain arcs with certain characters and ignoring pretty much everyone else lately. I plan to fix this in the future, after I've dropped a few people and cleaned up my line up, and adapted fully to being full time employed. But RIGHT NOW I'm tired and doing whatever I want which mostly means playing Ticky and Kira hellalot. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH THEM, YOU'RE GOLDEN. If you want to play with my other nine characters your odds are a little lower. I STILL LOVE YOU I'M JUST TIRED AND DISTRACTED ADN STUFF.

Replying Speed Along with the break down of maintaining my full line up, I've also had a break down of timely replies. I'm pretty good with certain people and certain threads, and the first day of the thread. After that I start to get pretty lousy and may have threads open for as much as a week. I KNOW THIS IS ANNOYING, JUST SEEK COMFORT KNOWING THAT I AM ANNOYING EVERYONE AND IT ISN'T JUST YOU. You can always poke me, I will tell you straight up if I'm going to reply or if you have to wait a bit, I'm zen like that |D

Thread Dropping I DROP THEM A LOT LATELY.

Thread Pickup Dropping is rarely a sign of lack of want to play and more a sign of having other stuff to do. I will pick up if you poke me about it, be warned I won't be super fast or anything.

Comfort Levels I'm fine with drama and angst. I don't like fight threads a whole lot and tend to avoid them unless I'm familiar with the person I'm playing with. RAPE threads are fine. If you want Ticky to maim you terribly, sure. But if you want to have a SHOOT OUT with him first, I'm less inclined, apologies. In general I just find the whole necessary polite balance of powers that appears in fights to be kind of a pain, since I'm generally cool with my characters getting their asses handed to them if they're fighting someone who can do that. AS SUCH if you are fighting my rapists and are not a rapist yourself yet don't want your ass handed to you... I'd rather just skip it. FIGHTS WITH PEOPLE I PLAY WITH REGULARLY/HAVE HAD FIGHTS WITH BEFORE are fine. It's more a discouragement of wanting to go after my terrifying organ-stealer and not deal with the repercussions, which I have been VERY GOOD at avoiding so far and will continue to be. UH. I'm generally okay with crack, just not very good at it. Romance, sexual etc... I'm fine with all of that in theory, but I tend to get a little uncomfortable playing out detailed hot and heavy make out sessions, not because my characters DON'T HAVE THEM but because it just feels like... not the point of camp, and like I'm breeching the rules even if it isn't technically against them. So I don't do a lot of that. The actual romance part just depends on character development and will handle itself ICly.

Threading Permission I do like heads up if you're jumping mid-thread or planning to do something that will change the direction of a thread I'm having with someone, but otherwise, knock yourself out. ALL of my characters have a blanket permissions for 'talk about whatever you want', ranging from 4th wall breaking to great angst. The only thing I would feel =\ about is if you tell them about something that has happened in their canon that I haven't updated them for yet. Such as telling Ticky that Cross kicks his ass or whatever. I have a REASON for not updating to that yet. BUT if there is a good reason to tell him I don't mind.

POSTING

Frequency Once or twice a month?

Spontaneity I tend to have a fairly spontaneous one every now and then. Those are ones I plan from the beginning to drop the majority of if I get distracted. I also tend to have PLANNED posts that I make an effort to be around for all day.

Postrape BRUTAL HONESTY AGAIN. Once it hits the second page I tend to stop paying attention. IT'S NOT YOU, IT'S JUST YOU ON TOP OF EVERYONE ELSE.

Time before a post is abandoned Depending on my amount of energy and momentum I can keep going through everyone at a good pace for four or so hours. If less than that I will drop threads and focus on the ones I'm invested in after a couple of hours. I will usually try to go back and pick up some threads the next day but inevitably drop before long anyway. All in all if you want to have a THREAD OF DECENT LENGTH with me, your odds are waaaay better to jump my character when they are out and about. and I have NO ISSUES WITH THIS AT ALL.

QUIRKS

New Canon Uh, unless I'm READING THE CANON and just haven't gotten there yet I'm pretty fine with spoilers. Just ask me before hand and I'll let you know if I care. If I am PLAYING WITH YOUR CHARACTER I don't care about spoilers, as I figure it's up to me to protect myself at least that much.

MOAR RELATIONSHIP DUMPS. ONLY TWO TO GO. I THINK

Kira/Rociel- This was not requested of me, but I'm doing it because I tend to have thoughts. Namely that Kira has every reason in the world to hate or at least seriously dislike Rociel and doesn't really.

Which isn't to say that Kira likes him! Rociel r not full of redeeming qualities. Every time they meet in canon, Rociel kills Kira. EVERY TIME. Starting from when Alexiel used Nanatsusaya to try to kill Rociel, but chickened out, and the blade was broken. To when Rociel first appears and has taken over Katou's body (which results in his death) and then kills Kira again. Aaand when Kira finally bites it for good, it's because Rociel ripped off his arm and then grabbed his heart out of his chest. There's also the whole "resurrected me as Lucifer which resulted in killing one of my only friends AGAIN, nearly killing Setsuna and not to mention my complete death without hope of return". Rociel is a DICK to Kira in pretty much every possible way.

But Kira doesn't and has never had any personal issues with Rociel. He doesn't LIKE him, sure. He frequently looks down on him. But then again, Kira is from post-canon and knows most of Rociel's story. And of every creature in the universe Rociel might be the closest to getting Kira's pity. Because, let's face it, Rociel got jacked. It's not even his own fault he went crazy. He's DESIGNED that way. And Kira has so little value of his own life it's not like he's going to get all pissy over dying a lot. Not that Rociel doesn't disgust Kira, because he does. Hell Rociel was designed to be disgusting too, and it's effective. But it's a knowing, ironic sort of disgust. The kind that is perhaps meant more as an insult to god than the person themselves. Lucifer did this a LOT, and in this case Kira's thoughts are pretty much the same. But at a level it's also just pity. Or acceptance and apathy over a shitty situation. But anger or accusation? Nah. Rociel's just god's fucked up puppet.

Which is WHY Kira will tolerate a lot from Rociel, or not be holding any grudges after each death. Obviously the one thing he's THOROUGHLY not okay with is fucking with Setsuna. And when that happens Kira would pull out all the stops to prevent it from resulting in Setsuna's death or the death of anyone close to him. BUT. After that Kira again wouldn't be holding a grudge. And would again sit around and talk and allow himself to be molested and mostly not bait him, until the point where it was futile to try to avoid it.

Jacuzzi/Graham- uhuhu i mean. Jacuzzi regards Graham mostly as a friend! After all, he didn't hurt Chane, and did let him go, and isn't particularly threatening when they talk now so they must be friends |D He has FEELINGS about Ladd, obviously, but doesn't connect Graham to them in any way, despite Graham's friendship with Ladd.

Jacuzzi is just... a very receptive and non-judgemental person. Graham had the chance to hurt him if he wanted to, to turn him over to the Russo's, and he didn't. He DID kidnap Chane, but she was okay, and Graham offered him the use of his warehouse! Which... jacuzzi is a thief and might actually plan to use. Uh. But overall? Graham is nice to him so Jacuzzi is nice back and thinks of them as friends and as such would defend or help him in any given situation that wasn't. You know. A really REALLY bad thing or. Didn't involve Ladd too closely )=

Ticky/Devit- Argh my braain. I LOVE HOW THEY ARE BOTH HOT GUYS AND YET. I CAN'T EVEN FATHOM THIS PAIRING AND IT HURTS ME LEGITIMATELY SOMEWHERE DEEP IN MY SOUL. sob

Anyyyway. I'm not sure much has changed between Ticky and Devit other than that they might be a bit closer. I kind of assume they didn't talk much or hang out that often back home. Ticky is a busy guy, all that woo-ing and assassinating to do, and when he's not doing that he's being a hobo. I imagine the Earl demands get togethers now and then, and everyone knows each other and is at least semi-comfortable with each other, and Ticky has PROBABLY hung out with Devit more than a lot of the Noah, but not the extent that he knows Rhode or Sherril. Anyway so basically kinda like... that cousin you see often enough that you're perfectly comfortable with them but rarely enough that you've never really bonded.

But DESPITE EVERYTHING Ticky is really a good... family member. Rhode and Sherril both adore him, and I suspect he took care of the twins to some extent at some point (Daddy! sob), and if he isn't you know, all OUT THERE and touchy with his feelings, he does care. He's also NOT bitter or insecure and, perhaps in balance to the fact that he kills what he loves and enjoys it, he doesn't get vengeful or envious or.. make any particular effort to spread negativity except for when, you know, he's being crazy and trying to make people give up on life out of sheer terror and pain. Cough. WHAT I'M GETTING AT HERE. Is that Ticky actually wants Devit to be happy. Not DEEPLY OR POWERFULLY. But while he might poke fun at his insecurities he has no desire to see them continue or get worse. He's genuinely happy for Devit that he has a boyfriend!

He... anticipates a bad backlash from it. Ticky, unlike Devit, is very understanding to what it means for humans to even try to accept beings like them, and why he shouldn't (and doesn't) hold it against him in the event that they flip out and break up with him. This is why even though Ticky admitted UNDER FORCE OF TRUTH that he wouldn't ask Shigure if they were friends because he was afraid Shigure was still just humoring him, he... wouldn't at all blame Shigure if that were true. WHICH IS TO SAY. Ticky assumes there is a good chance Hakuren will break up with Devit at some point. HUMANS break up all the time. Over dumb little things. A human and a Noah have a much larger chance of not making it. And WHEN/IF that happens Devit will probably get a nasty fall out from it and Ticky expects to need to. do. something.

BUT IN THE MEAN TIME he's supportive and happy for Devit in his. Way. And still doesn't really care that Devit is insecure over HIM or have any intentions of making that EASIER. Because. Well. Man up.

Ticky/Jasdero- POSSIBLY THE ONLY THING MORE PAINFUL THAN TICKY/DEVIT. sob

Anyway, see Devit's section for what I imagine is the amount of closeness Ticky has to the twins, then cut that in about half due to Jasdero having the mentality of a child. Not that Ticky has anything against kids! But while Rhode primarily seeks Ticky for her ...elder/supportive/friend person, Dero has Devit, so I don't think Ticky is filling a lot of emotional needs there. THAT SAID. Again, Ticky is a good family member and would pull Dero out of any uncomfortable situations (like you know, being stripped publicly) and probably be nicer and more supportive than he is to Devit. Treat him a little more like a kid. Which he's perfectly comfortable with! But not inclined to... do much with, because again, Dero has Devit.

For the record he sees Devit and Dero as separate people, and Jasdevi as a conglomeration of the two at once, rather than each half of one person. Ticky recognizes that each of the Noah are effected by their property in a different way, and that as such his assessment may be inaccurate, and that's cool. But similar to how he doesn't explain his particular brand of crazy (which none of the other Noah seem to share) he assumes he can't quite get their situation and just sees it how he sees it.

MOAR RELATIONSHIP DUMPS

Luke/Mukuro- uhh. orz. This MAY change depending on what Van says about the relationship after Luke finishes talking to him. But as things are now:

Well. Luke discovered Mukuro is a sadist. He doesn't know that's the word for it. But he knows Mukuro admitted that he enjoys hurting people. Onceupon a time Luke would have chalked this up to 'likes fighting', which is an exhileration and a challenge, and Luke likes it too. But in their conversation it was very obviously 'likes hurting' which... isn't even just hurting his enemies but his friends too. It didn't occur to Luke to ask if Mukuro would enjoy hurting HIM, since Luke's sense of entitlement more or less went down with Akzeriuth, but if he thought about it he'd assume so. Luckily, Luke assumes he can beat Mukuro in a fight, so he never really worries about his own safety.

ANYWAY. While he moved on from the subject, the sadist thing really bothers him. He doesn't have any way to rationalize that and it means accepting that something is just very wrong with Mukuro, something incomprehensible and inexcusable to him. He could understand, on some level, Mukuro wanting to lash out to the world that had hurt him. But enjoying the pain of your friends is a different kind of wrong and... he can't rationalize it. He can DEAL with it, cuz god knows Luke's dealt with plenty of other messed up things. But it isn't okay.

NONETHELESS he left the conversation feeling pretty happy. He can manage this for a few reasons: Luke HAS learned to... rationalize a lot of Mukuro's actions. It may not be entirely fair, but Mukuro is, regardless of all faults, an important friend. He could forgive Van USING HIM TO KILL TEN THOUSAND PEOPLE, and while Luke never forgives Van for this, he doesn't fixate on it (in a "I hate you Master!" sense) throughout the game. He addresses it once and moves on. This is similar to how Luke reacts to "Mukuro is a sadist", he's not okay with it and will be very un-okay with it every time it comes up, but dwelling on it won't get him anywhere. And UNLIKE Van, he knows Mukuro is making an effort, in his... Mukuro way, to be better. Luke is losing patience for a lot of Mukuro's bullshit, and more often takes the "cut it out or I'm not going to deal with you anymore" mentality that Tear topped him with, but Luke's still far from stone hearted and making the attempt means a lot to him, he's physically incapable of not being supportive. The SECOND thing is that, well. Lancia is okay. Lancia might have nearly died and that is bad, but Luke almost dies on a regular basis (meta gaming), so a NEAR death doesn't bother him that much, on top of that Lancia is okay WITH it, he was clearly far more upset about Mukuro hurting his friends than hurting him, something Luke can understand, and as such he doesn't feel like he has to be deeply permanantly upset on Lancia's behalf.

Blahblah that was very rambly and I haven't even gotten anywhere yet really. BASICALLY, stuff has changed, though not necessarily recently. Luke has just learned to top more. He doesn't think about it that often, but he has learned that Mukuro values his company and friendship and will make an effort to keep Luke happy to maintain them. Luke has only ACTIVELY used this against Mukuro once, a while ago after Mukuro stabbed Ikki for no damn reason. But it works in his favor nearly all the time now. The only shift is that Luke accepts less bullshit. But he also, courtesy of TRUTH POST, KNOWS that Mukuro is trying. And that, for whatever Mukuro reason, 'trying his best' doesn't and probably can't equate to 'I won't do it anymore', but... Mukuro IS unquestionably getting better. It's just a matter of if he gets better before he does something Luke won't forgive him for.

Luke also has a vague sort-of crush neither of us are really addressing because he's unlikely to act on it. But it's there and he's actually grown up enough to realize it. (Luke has vague, sort-of crushes on Natalia and Guy too and is cool with it. I'm not entirely sure he's equated it to sex in any way yet, which is probably why he can be zen).

Van/Luke **SPOILERS IN THISUN**- This may very well earn some status updating after Van and Luke finish talking, as it will mark the end of their FIRST WHOLE CONVERSATION. But, for now, here is how it plays out.

Luke is not capable of hating Van, disrespecting him or really being more than deeply hurt and frustrated at him. He's just... not. Luke loves people too wholely and regardless of Duke Fabre getting his head out of his ass, Van was his surrogate father figure his entire life, and you know, a guy who did his best to... well. Brainwash Luke. And it worked. And he even KNOWS it worked. But he can't change the fact that he loves Van and doesn't really want to, he just feels guilty about it whenever people point out that, you know, he shouldn't.

There is still a lot to respect about Van if you can get past the whole tried to destroy the world thing. Which... Luke can. Lolo. Luke is very well aware that he's still young and stupid, and Van is still intelligent and decisive and naturally a mentor. He THINKS he can trust Van to give him good at advice on pretty much anything that isn't the Score or. the fate of the world. And at the very least Luke can LISTEN to it, as he's gotten very good at thinking for himself while still listening to other people's opinions and advice.

SO WHAT I'M GETTIN AT HERE. Is that Luke still values Master Van and... he won't ever NOT. He does understand that even if Van recognizes him as human, he only does because Luke... killed a lot of people and went through a lot of strife to reach him, which Luke really doesn't consider good qualifications to be recognized as human to begin with. On top of that he was only created to be used, and even if Van sees him as human, finally, it doesn't mean Van sees him as a pupil or... son. The way Luke always believed and wished for. Luke is... okay with this. It sucks but he's zen about it. All things considered, Van's opinion on him should be very low on his list of concerns and thus isn't something he'll openly address (even if it does bother him yes). But it... doesn't change his opinion on Van. Which is why Luke can't not love Van no matter how little Van sees in him.

As for... how he sees Van. Van is actually one of the few people Luke considers himself equal to on a lot of levels, despite still thinking of him as "Master". He defeated Van, saved the world, died for his cause, learned and defeated him with Albert Style Artes, and basically did a lot of the same things Van did and was the one ultimately successful. In a lot of ways, Van is still his superior! He's smarter, lived longer, CREATED HIM, and had a lot of master plans going on. But in the end Luke did confront and defeat him, and this leaves with a certain amount of confidence when dealing with Van. As much as he loves him, he's past being manipulated or used or lied to or having that love turned against him. As far as interactions, Van gets the same amount of awkward humility Luke shows anyone, but more familiar confidence than Luke shows people who he isn't close to, and hasn't been through a lot with.

Uh. THIS WAS NOT VERY ORGANIZED. But the short of it is that Luke loves and respects and wants Van's approval always. At the same time has a good sense of reality regarding the situation and treats it the way it is and not the way he wishes it were. And there... aren't any hard feelings so much as hurt ones, but he's ACCEPTED THOSE.

Ticky/Radu- Radu honey I'm sorry but Ticky's opinon hasn't changed and probably won't. He LIKES Radu, overall. The Baron is in a positive light for him, because he's good company and doesn't get on his case about all of the dying. But he's not particularly interested or attached either. Very much a companionable once in a while chat and someone he might do a favor for thanks to the nice opinion he has on him, but not much else.

Holy christ that meme got revived WITH A VENGEANCE. Oh well, it fits well enough into what I was doing anyway.

BUT FIRST:

SO. In a fit of very me-ness, I signed up for that community wide relationship meme a month or so ago and then never replied to it. This is because I'm a hobo and have a very short attention span lately. ANYWAY. When I'm at work I do have free periods with which to work on USELESS ESSAY STUFF. So I gathered up the list of requested relationship things and have done about half of them them. At work. And mailed them back to myself and posted and here they are:

Ticky/Chizu-nee- Ticky's opinion on Chizu-nee is both interesting because it's... unique to her, and boring because it's still nothing special. Ticky is borderline misogynistic, as I play him. Not because he has anything against woman, not because he thinks they are weaker or dumber or less, not because he doesn't find them attractive. But with his obsession on being a 'man' and not a 'boy', his orphaned situation, being the 'daddy' of the other Noah (which is to say, literally the most responsible Noah so far), and the way all of his friends are male and the only time he addresses a females who aren't Rhode is to fake being a Lord (a process which he finds tedious, and immediately rejects any possibility of marriage, and seems to think it's absurd that he'd have a girlfriend)... ACTUALLY THIS IS AN INTERESTING SUBJECT FOR ME SO LET ME TAKE A BRIEF DETOUR INTO THE FEMALES IN TICKY'S CANON LIFE AND HOW HE SEES THEM

RHODE- Rhode is the female Ticky is closest too, most fond of, most powerful and has the most power over him. He also thoroughly doesn't identify her by her gender at all. Despite everything Ticky is in no way a pedo, and come on, who focuses on the gender of a little kid? Especially your NIECE? Rhode is SO many things that gender has nothing to do with: family, Noah, Dreams, old, powerful, non-physical, childish, comfortable. She in no way effects his perception of women.

RINALI- Ticky interacts with Rinali briefly to call her scrawny and threaten to kill her to upset the men. This is the only time he interacts with her (or even notices her) despite her being around for two of his battles. It's about two or three panels, sexual, violent and dominating.

LULU BELL- I would LOVE to see Ticky and Lulu Bell interact, but as of yet we've only had him comment on her briefly (i THINK it was him?) to say she was off crying somewhere. I'm sure Ticky has a fairly decent relationship with her as she is Noah and family is important to him. But I also suspect that either A) because she is family her gender is almost as irrelevant as Rhode's is or B) his relationship with her is weaker than it is with the others.

SHERRIL'S WIFE- He addresses her politely and with distance, but what I also assume is genuine respect. However, Sherril's wife is in no way a strong woman. Infact her own husband comments on how he's happy to have a sickly and weak wife. When you consider that Rhode's adoption was clearly Sherril's choice, and that his wife is gently ushered away whenever Noah Business is afoot, and that her husband is CRAZY and she doesn't seem to be in on any of that, she very MUCH comes off as a weak female character who fills all of the roles of a that character type. I use how Ticky treats her to determine how Ticky treats ANY human who is... joined to the Noah Clan by a relationship (see how he treated Hakuren when he found out about his and Devit's relationship) and in a way there a certain level of genuine respect. But AGAIN she is weak, female, and virtually pointless, and if Ticky had pity he might pity her.

HIS FANGIRLS- Ticky is toted around as a Lord when he's in his Noah life. He's the center of parties, all the young women love him, and he could have his choice of an ideal, beautiful, rich young wife if he wanted one. He only does any of this because it's how the Earl uses him, and he remarks that it is tedious. His entire 'gentlemanly' air is nothing like how he acts when he's actually interested in the situation or person at hand, nor how he would chose to act in any given company. Ticky is powerful, a monster, and a hobo, and his PRIMARY SOURCE of female attention is given to him by women who are completely unaware of any of this, would be terrified of him if they KNEW, and all basically fall into the trap of the image he presents. As a person who values just about EVERYTHING over appearance (he chooses to live as a hobo guyz) there is really nothing here to respect. Hell he doesn't even ENJOY it.

Aaand on top of all of that, in my headcanon, since he lived most of his life as a hobo, most of the females he slept with were probably hookers. Cheap ones. AGAIN he's cool with it, but it's not a position inspiring respect, power, courage or ... masculinity. Which are. Things Ticky likes.

SO. YOU SEE. Ticky has no strong female influence in his life. No mother. No sisters. If he was at all raised at an orphanage I doubt the nuns really made an impression on him, and he certainly hasn't fallen head over heels for a strong woman who would influance his perception of them. He still thinks they're hot and wants to fuck them! But he's not dumb and doesn't mark that sort of thing up to being better than... companionship among equals.

WHICH IS HOW CHIZU-NEE IS BASICALLY THE FIRST AND ONLY STRONG FEMALE AND FEMININE INFLUENCE IN TICKY'S LIFE.

See I was totally getting to a point there.

Basically. Ticky has a genuinely positive opinion of Chizu-nee. He likes her. She has guts and heart, both things he values. She stood up to him when he wanted to off Allen for being in the cabin, she takes care of Mika and Devit pretty much equally. She makes FOOD which is always a positive thing to a hobo. And... is maternal, which he doesn't personally have any idea what to do with but recognizes it as a good thing in some awkward, uncertain but innate way.

He's also rather confused by her, because. She's... a woman he respects. He won't hurt her because she's a cabinmate. And in his head anyone who lives in the cabin is offlimits. It's his HOME here and he isn't going to upset it by murdering the residents. So she's safe from him even when she's abusively toppy. Not that he isn't used to being abusively topped anyway. But. She's human. And not a friend. And tends to poke into things that aren't her business. He's not really INTERESTED in her, and feels no special inclination to talk to her. Infact he probably avoids her if he can just because the whole thing is weird. But he'll let her get away with a lot, would probably protect her if she was in danger, will at least listen if she advises him or beats him, and at the same time won't back down to her if he feels she's overstepping her bounds (which, in his opinion, she generally is).

Ticky/Mika- Mika was a failure and didn't pick a relationship thing but since we don't interact AS MUCH AS WE SHOULD, I'll just do the update on Ticky's thoughts on Mika, which haven't changed much.

Ticky loev Mika and he's very secure in their relationship. Short of actually killing him he's done everything he could to upset their relationship and it's still there. So he feels comfortable with it. At the same time Mika has a lot of friends and recently has been INVOLVED with the healing angel. Actually, while Ticky doesn't like Raph, he's very supportive of this, because whatever it's what makes him happy, yah? Go for it. Only there is ROMANTIC DRAMA and... Ticky doesn't get drama so it rolls off him. Mostly he just knows that Mika shows up sulking more often than not lately, and it's a little funny because he's such a teenager at heart. Ticky still wants to molest him in a general sense but is way more distracted by Shigure.

Kira/Rayne- Lol. Kira loev Rayne. In... a very zen way that doesn't require much. She's super hot and a vampire (HALF) but also a hunter of them and a protector of humanity and in general he respects that. She worries about losing control and hurting people which is kinda cute. She likes HIM a lot without asking anything of him, which is good since Kira's... bad at supplying ... anything. She's basically the same type as him, but trustworthy and badass and she's one of the first people he'd ask anything of because... well. She's the sort that's dedicated herself to being the sacrifice/opponant, where as much people just get unfortunately dragged into it. One day something will happen to his bed and he'll just show up in hers.

Kira/Sara- cause I'm a hooker and couldn't choose. I THINK I've covered this before. But essentially Kira loev Sara. Not like he loves Setsuna. But she's definitely one of his favorite people and will never stop being such. Nor will he ever stop hitting on her. But I assume that's something that's been going on for years and he only stepped it up a few notches that one time, when Sara wasn't even AROUND, to make Setsuna lose it. In general it's just very laid back and part of their interaction.

THAT SAID he feels no special attachment to her. He's fond of her and loves her for Setsuna's love of her, and would do a lot for her sake, but doesn't want or expect anything from her and wouldn't think about it twice if he never saw her again. To be PERFECTLY FAIR. Most people fall into that category for Kira.

Kira/Saki- SAKI IS HOT and a girl who appreciates being flirted with and is generally pretty cool and totally the type of person Kira will hang out with and hit on casually forever and try to 'break up' her relationship so he can get with her only not really.

Kira/Kurai- Man I have a lot of kira relations to get through. ANYWAY. Kira looooove Kurai. She's one of the few people he genuinely cares about... as much as he can. This is due to a mix of things. Their mutual owned by alexiel/topped into loving Setsuna-ness. The fact that Kira knows the majority of her life and watched it even if he was detached and she doesn't realize it. The fact that Alexiel loved HER. And of course the whole, being an adorable girl thing. While ALL LARGE POINTS it doesn't really change Kira's behavior toward her, and won't. He'll poke at her and pick on her the same way I think he would have HAD THEY EVER INTERACTED BEYOND SUDDEN EMO MOMENTS. He thinks she'll be a great princess and hopes she kicks heaven's ass. But in the mean time, THIS sort of life, for creatures like them, is short, and she should loosen up and have some fun and maybe get a girlfriend.

Kira/Jomy- JOMY IS CLEARLY JUST ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE YOU CAN'T TALK TO. AND TRYING MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A RETARD. Kira made the mistake of trying to enter an actual conversation with him on their first meeting. IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. He's filed him from idealist into that special place in his mind reserved for over the top people you can't actually talk WITH, but can talk at for good reactions. NEXT TIME HE'LL JUST POKE HIM AND ABUSE HIM.

Argilla/Brook- Argilla loves Brook! He's fun and a gentleman and so full of info. And one of the few people in camp who doesn't consider the lack of flesh very notable and would go out with him anyway if she were into him like that. She thinks of Brook as a 'friend' of the Embryon, and someone she would eat Spike for.

AS FOR YOUR QUESTION. Ticky is his black form if he's hanging around the graveyard, and feel free to assume you've seen him. He has a terrible memory for people and will not know who you are, or care that he 'forgot', but will gamely talk to you 'again' anyway. As it is, he hangs around the graveyard less now than he used to. But he still makes appearances.

Ed/Spitfire- Ed's opinion on Spitfire is, and probably always will be, a raging keyboard mash. It doesn't have to be, since while Spitfire does grate on Ed in a personality way, it's not nearly to the extent that he REACTS to it, but Ed is fairly comfortable with being ragey and disrespectful to Spit, as it gives him something of an outlet. And Spit IS an asshole and does deserve it. So whatever.

As far as the deaging, Ed likes young!Spit waaaaaay better. The fact that Spit beat him up and embarrassed him really isn't relevant, he's used to that! He operated on a level Ed gets, and was full of shounen retardy fun. And they beat each other up and talked and Kazu confessed and it was all good. This is FAR better from the aloof and arrogant Spit who somehow still wants to act nicer, and looks down on Ed in a way that... has no reaction. Ed doesn't care when people look down him so much as when they think they are superior in a zen way that Ed can't get past. ANYWAY. Lots of tweaky little things there but overall, Spit ANNOYS Ed and Ed needs someone to be mad at and he's perfectly okay with that being Spitfire.

As far as Spit finding out ED'S DARK SECRETS. He really doesn't care. People knowing the truth is pretty much irrelevant to HIM, he just doesn't like the pity (if there is anyway) and he doesn't like TALKING about it. Not that it evokes DEEP ANGST. It's just pleasant and none of your business, so he'd rather not. But it is VASTLY better than Spitfire reading the manga and seeing everything from Ed's point of view as it happened. The manga really disturbs Ed on a personal level because it has scenes like his reaction to Nina, or his mother's death, or trying to bring her back to life. He's not a pussy about it he just DOESN'T LIKE IT and doesn't want anyone to see it either. It's also a certain measure of protecting the other people in the comic, who also have the right to as much privacy as they can get.

ALL IN ALL Ed's okay with Spit in his... Ed way. He will always yell and flail and make him miserable and insult him and want to fight him. But he doesn't actually dislike him particularly. And if you break Kazu's heart he'll kick your ass.

SO. MANY A TIME I HAVE WONDERED, what with Ticky's awesome powers and all. Why doesn't he ever just stick his enemies INTO things and leave them there, or visa versa? Is there something limiting his power that way? Is he just not that creative? WHAT?

So then I was going through some HQ raws of the earlier chapters and got to Deesha's corpse.

resized to make it a bit easier to see. But if you look the chains are actually going INTO his body |D I know it's not a "the artist was too lazy to draw the hooks" because... A) it's Hoshino, and B) she's drawn Ticky's victims with wires hooked into them before. So it's totally deliberate.

They seem to start at the arms. Go in at the navel, one comes back out just below the navel (I assume the other stayed at his back), front one goes back in at the groin (Or COULD be pulled between his legs, hard to tell) come back up through the thighs. Go up along his legs and straight through the feet, then the chains are tied neatly around the lamppost.

WHICH IS TO SAY. I feel justified for sticking Rabi in a tree that one time.

OKAY MUCH LIKE KIRA'S ESSAY. This is going to cover a few of Ticky's major relationships and his thoughts on them. WITHIN: Shigure, Devit, Mika, Allen, Roy.

Ticky on Shigure- Progressively more likely.

Shigure's a hard one. I won't bother to retrack everything that has happened, I'm pretty sure he's consistently mentioned in most of my past essays. LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW THINGS ARE NOW.

Ticky loves Shigure. Like. Really. He's not IN love with him (infact, anything beyond platonic love doesn't exist for Ticky. Yes he can have platonic love while still wanting to fuck it) but he does genuinely care about him in his crazy Ticky way.

For Ticky, at least, it really doesn't have anything to do with the body switch anymore. That initially made Shigure interesting to him in a sort of unplaceable way, but it didn't make him emotionally attached. And the key is... Ticky IS capable of emotional attachment! It's a huge portion of his character, really. He's not REALLY CLINGY OR AFFECTIONATE. But if you didn't get that Ticky genuinely cares for both the people in his white life and his black, you're missing two very large points. He's still a logical, aloof, zen kinda guy and is almost physically incapable of regret, which means even if the people he cares about DO die he can't... feel for it the same way I normal person would. But he is aware of the absence of that feeling and inspite of the absense of it he can still have a certain level of actual caring!

But. It's his black life, he's crazy, and one of the major points of their relationship is that Shigure KNOWS PRETTY MUCH JUST HOW CRAZY TICKY IS so Ticky doesn't really make any pretense to appears otherwise anymore. He just... exists as he is and doesn't block Shigure off from much of it other than the part of him that wants to kill Shigure and Ticky does that more for himself than Shigure. (if he's saying things like "I won't kill your family" or "I'll leave you alone for a while", that's for Shigure). So! Ticky does care, but Ticky also isn't limiting his crazy like he does in his White life, or redirecting it or distracting himself from it. On one level it has the Mika Effect of "I can be however I want around this person and that feels good" only Ticky can't really FUCK WITH Mika. And uh. Fucking with people is fun. Fucking with people he likes is more fun. He can fuck with Shigure all he likes and he likes Shigure ERGO. He has a lot of fun with Shigure.

It's very hard to explain Ticky's particular brand of being able to really care about and like a person while still feeling absolutely guiltless about knowingly fucking with their lives. Ticky is NOT without sympathy. He's intelligent, formerly human, and empathic enough that he really DOES realize what he's doing to Shigure most of the time. He recognizes that it's a bad situation, that Shigure got himself into it to an extent, but that he probably doesn't deserve the hand he's been dealt. AS A FRIEND he genuinely does sympathize! As the crazy fucker who is DOING THIS ALL TO HIM AND HAVING FUN he's going to. Keep doing it.

Then of course there are the receont hobo developments! NAMELY Shigure is having fist fights with him |D As Shigure mentioned in his essay, hobo liek fist fights, especially with Shigure, and hilariously he likes them WAY MORE because SHIGURE likes them. Ticky is not blind to Shigure's own dark side and he thinks seeing it come out is a lot of fun! He enjoys Shigure enjoying hurting him. This isn't masochism. Ticky doesn't HAVE a "Well I'm a bad person so I should be hurt" ... self concept, at all. (He can recognize it clinically he just doesn't attach any emotion to the idea). But he likes... Shigure, really. Even the Black parts. And like any humans he enjoys effecting things, he likes it when actions mirror his perceptions on reality. Seeing Shigure WANT to fight him for no real reason other than Shigure needs a way to lash out is totally fun.

HE'S ALSO aware of Shigure's skewed and mostly incorrect idea that Ticky has rules attached to each of his lives and that maintaining those rules is desperately important. That would be very text book classic villain of him, and Ticky understands where he got the idea, but it's really. Not right. Ticky separates his lives because 75% because they simply wouldn't mesh and 25% because having two completely different extremes to enjoy is really fun. This isnt' to say his white side doesn't MAINTAIN HIS PSYCHE. it DOES. But that's not... what it's there for. It's there because he likes it. He doesn't KEEP IT TO STAY SANE he STAYS SANE because he doesn't want to lose it. Ticky doesn't have any compulsive habits or anal rules associated with either of his lives, beyond habit and the general fun of maintaining them. I.E. he talks with Mika about Black Life matters in his white mode for a while, but eventually switches over to his Black because talking noah stuff in Hobo Dialect felt weird. But not because BLACK MATTERS MUST NOT TOUCH WHITE. Similarly, white Hobo Ticky WOULDN'T kill in his Hobo form, that's mostly because if he's a hobo he's indulging different pleasures at the moment. He has no particular problem knowing the same person in both lives, and while he doesn't LIKE people knowing about his white life, and would kill them if they went on blabbing about it. It's not an obsessive compulsive desire to keep them separated. He can roll with it, enjoy either or, let them mix a bit, and he's getting better at it the more he's at camp. IN SHORT. Shigure really doesn't have any guarantees just because he's in White form, but it's funny that he thinks he does.

Wow I talk in circles.

ANYWAY. Basically Ticky really does like Shigure. A lot. He would totally rape anyone that hurt him, he might assassinate people on request, and will still never hesitate to mess with him. The only people he wouldn't fight with over this would be fellow Noah. But if one of them killed Shigure he would just... kill one of theirs in return. I.E. much as Ticky loves Mika. He'd rip off his wings again if Devit went after Shigure. AND THAT WOULD BE BAD FOR EVERYONE except the Noah who would just be kind of tantrumy about it.

Ticky on Devit- DOES NOT GO THERE.

Ticky on NOAH IN GENERAL basically goes like this. To an extent, Ticky truly sees them as family. I don't think they grew up together but there is a certain bond and a familiarity that you can't escape between them all. It is LITERALLY them against the world, and the Noah are human enough that that means something, and crazy enough that that only means something in a crazy Noah kinda way. Because they are all still super powered bastards out to kill everything and that makes all your interactions a bit off kilter. Anyway. Ticky doesn't... try to separate himself from the other Noah, even though he's obviously different from them and I'm sure they notice he's different as well. Because! They're family! And you accept family with their little quirks and flaws and assume they will always be family regardless.

I DON'T think Ticky is individually emotionally attached to all of the Noah. At the moment I would say his favorite is Rhode, he has a certain tolerant fondness for Devit, and a certain "topped through over familiarity" fondness for Sherrill. But he certainally wasn't PERSONALLY affected when Skin died, even though he seemed to like him just fine. And I think it's that way with most of them, which is what I mean by "family in the crazy Noah sense". Even if Rhode, his apparent favorite, died. I don't think Ticky would be very broken up about it. He's logical, zen, and crazy. He knows the possibilities, and is willing to kill his own friends, so of course it won't be terribly gut punching if family dies.

THAT SAID. Devit and Ticky's relationship is pretty much pure interaction stuff instead of actual FEELING STUFF. Ticky tolerates Devit because FAMILY and through that is reasonably fond of him despite the fact that Devit is clearly a retarded punk who hasn't come into himself and possibly never will. Ticky's a CLEVER BOY and well aware of Devit's insecurities, and if he BOTHERED TO THINK ABOUT IT (he doesn't) he could figure out the reasons behind a lot of Devit's actions. As it IS he's pretty content to interact with Devit as the punk fail brat he is, tolerating it because Ticky.. tolerates abuse. And UNLIKE DEVIT is confident enough that people can't really damage his ego at all. IT WORKS OUT WELL.

All stats are from one to five. With one being about normal for an average human, three being very good but still feasible, and five being awesome bordering on ridiculous.

I suppose you could say humans in DDS are 'strong' because they don't die instantly, but they have very weak attacks, miss often, and die easily. Argilla spent her life on the battle field but nothing about fighting with her in her human form is particularly special. I assume she's fairly fast, has low strength and endurance, and good skill because she... uses a sniper rifle.

Prithivi-

Weapon: Arm whips. Mouth boobs.

Strength: ★ ★ ★

ATMA ON THE OTHER HAND. Prithivi is still not the strongest character, but her magic raaapes. I put her Strength at three, which is. Quite Strong but still one of the physically weaker characters in the game. Skill wouldn't change with her physical form, and I don't recall anything to suggest she's particularly fast. Magic is at four because it's what she's really good at and where all of her damage comes from. The reason she isn't a five is because the magic spells in DDS are still fairly limited compared to some of the grander attacks my characters are capable of.

Ed is a very thorough, very decent all-rounder. He punches as hard as he can, moves as fast as his automail will let him, and isn't as good at fighting as he would be if he practiced as much as he should but is pretty damn good anyway because he's an obnoxious genius character. He sits pretty firmly in the middle of his canon as far as abilities go, and the main limiter for him is that FMA IS SOMEWHAT LOGICAL WHEN IT COMES TO BATTLES. As such Ed will never be able to beat A LOT OF OTHER SHOUNEN HEROES, because FMA doesn't go the crazy over powered shounen route. The one thing about Ed that TRULY STANDS OUT and which I will never let anyone undercut me on is his endurance. It takes A LOT OF FUCKING PAIN to make Ed stop moving when he's serious. When Actually Fighting in canon the only way to make Ed stop is to punch him until he loses consciousness or make him lose enough blood that he passes out. If he's conscious he will pretty much continue to fight.

Alchemy only gets two stars because the reality is, Ed's style of alchemy is not particularly well suited for battle. He's a quick thinker so he MAKES IT WORK TO HIS ADVANTAGE. But when you consider skills like Roy's or Scar's it's... really no that great. He mostly uses it to make himself weapons or traps or escape routes.

Jacuzzi-

JACUZZI R NOT REALLY A FIGHTER. I imagine he's been involved in a number of street fights, where in he mostly stood on the side lines and tried to convince people to make peace. But in an actual fight situation all he has going for him is the fact that if he cares enough to ACTUALLY AGREE TO FIGHT he will NOT GIVE UP easily, and continue on despite being shot and stabbed and terrified out of his mind.

Special skill is crying. Only a four because while it takes a SPECIAL LEVEL of asshole to attack a bawling Jacuzzi. It does happen several times.

Kaworu-

Weapon: EVA and Angel...stuff.

There's a good chance that these are, in fact, higher. In the original Eva Kaworu is ridiculously over powered and the only reason he lost at all is because he wanted Shinji to kill him. In Gakuen Datenroku Kaworu seems to be able to recover from stuff quickly, take out fellow angels in one well aimed hit, guard against rather powerful attacks and jump thirty or so feet. And that's just his "We haven't bothered to show him actually fighting yet" abilities.

Being Kaworu is, in fact, it's own skill. If you don't believe me go watch Eva. (This is also the hardest part of his character to play).

Kira-

Weapon: Fists. .....Shiranui if he really needs it. Which he hasn't so far.

Kira is a practiced thug, and more over, someone with lots of experience in randomly fighting people throughout his various lives! I don't think he has ever really trained in battle, nor do I think he put forward any effort to make Kira Sakuya's body especially fit or strong. What fighting ability he has comes from a mixture of his life experience and the fact that he doesn't hold back physically or psychologically the way humans naturally do. This MAINLY COMES OUT in his speed, since he lacks hesitation over... pretty much anything, and just reacts. The special note is his Endurance. Since he's died a LOT OF TIMES pain has almost no effect on him. And he will basically press on with a broken body as long as it can physically hold out.

Special Skill is SUPRAIZE MAFIA. This isn't so much obvious things like, oh, Setsuna and Katou, as it is less obvious things like demons who suddenly show up to give him a hand, or the friends who he has made in camp who might want to help him even when he repeatedly gives them every reason not to.

Luke-

Weapon: Broadsword

Despite his jesus ways Luke is really a very strong and capable fighter. It's true that his primary weakness is that he's really not his most effective unless he's fighting in a party, but he's still more than capable of holding his own. Offense is his main ability. He hits hard and has a slew of unique and powerful fighter attacks. His speed is less than impressive, comparatively, and the best way to fight him and Asch is to run around them and take them out in hit-and-run attacks |D He's a tank class in a game that doesn't have any 'true' tanks, but he gets the most hit points.

Special Skill is Hyperresonance, which basically basically means he rips apart matter with his mind. But since Luke isn't terribly precise with it and prefers not to use it, it doesn't do as much direct damage as it could, and really isn't as strong as the special attacks of the rest of his party.

Nero-

Weapons: Devil Bringer (demonic right arm), Blue Rose (Double barreled revolver, infinite ammo), Red Queen (fire revving broadsword)

Lolo DMC character. Much like FFVII, DMC's rules of what the character can do operates mostly on what would be really really awesome, and is limited only by game play meta. Strength and Endurance are at 5 stars due to his demonness. Stabbing him through the chest really only slows him down for a couple of seconds, and when he punches people they go flying. Skill is at four because Dante Is More Amazing, and Speed is at three because surprisingly AMAZING SPEED is not one of the DMC traits.

Special Skill, Devil Trigger. DT RAPES. It rapes HARD. You don't what to fuck with Nero when he's in DT mode. But it has a limited amount of time before he runs out of energy, which is why its only three stars.

Reborn-

Ticky actually does willfully power himself down for his white mode. He doesn't punch as hard as he could, move as fast as he could, or fight as well as he could. He defaults to the bar room brawl/hungry hobo level of fighting I imagine he grew up with. He can throw a punch, take a punch, and has been in enough fights to know how to come out on the upper end, but it's nothing flashy or special or particularly interesting.

Black Ticky-

TICKY IS A CHEATING WHORE. I assume, judging by Ticky's (few) physical actions and the way the other Noah fight that BEING a Noah grants you a certain ability of super human strength and speed and regenerative ability. However that's not relevant because he can 'Choose' out of everything in creation and thus nothing hits him if he doesn't want it to except for God Matter. On top of that the Tease are there to act as an attack/barrier for when he DOES have to deal with God Matter and they AREN'T a crappy lame attack. The Tease can multiply themselves, EAT people, Innocence and energy attacks, grow to pretty much any size, appear at will from any part of Ticky's body (or just. The ground if he feels like it). They have almost impossible numbers and can be converted to an energy form, from which he can blast out powerful laser-like attacks, or into a shield which he create at will and use to block or deflect powerful physical/energy attacks. BASICALLY the Tease ALL ON THEIR OWN would make Ticky a very powerful fighter. And then he... doesn't even need them for most opponents.

I didn't even put in Ticky's 'Noah' form, since he doesn't have it in camp yet and I don't know if he can use it at will or not. But that's a different type of very rapey.

Naked Snake-

Snake is a SPECIAL CHARACTER because he is, if you just go by his normal stats, not particularly special. He has the highest skill stat of any of my characters (other than Reborn), which is note worthy, but his strength and his speed are nothing impressive. His Endurance IS, but you might have noticed by now that Aviy likes characters who can do cool things like withstand horrible torture and reset their own bones. Still, in a pure and simple physical fight, Snake is nothing special.

What makes him AMAZING is the next two things. First! CQC. It's only four stars, because the game underscores again and again that while Snake can take out most people with it, the Boss still kicks his ass. It is none-the-less a very powerful combat technique, not flashy or pretty but to the point and extremely effective. And he is good at it. With CQC he can get the upper hand on most people.

Then of course there is the FAME. Big Boss is an amazing character who never once actually appears as the villain in any of the MGS games. Yet his Legacy of Outer Heaven and the effect he had on Solid Snake, Ocelot, and frankly the world cause his memory and particular brand of heartbreaking infamy to endure throughout the entire series. Solid Snake himself is a rightfully a legend and a hero to gamers everywhere and Naked Snake was the original, and Big Boss was the villain that caused Solid Snake to exist. This all combines within my PURE GAMER HEART to make Naked Snake something of a godmoder that will let him maintain his status as a legendary soldier even in a camp of over powered punks.

Vash-

The only stats NOT at five stars are Strength, because as far as physical PUNCH IT ability, I have characters who can do better. And Hijinks, because as much as he tries to retard everything away, that doesn't always work.

Otherwise he's pretty much unbeatable. Because that's sort of the point.

Zack-

This means he can do pretty much any cool move he wants as long as it looks cool. Jumping buildings! Defying gravity! Punching a lot of thing in the faaaaace! Breaking walls with his fists! Etc etc etc. On top of that there are various materia, the attack abilities of both Crisis Core AND the original game, and the fact that Zack's over limit is everyone else's over limits. While hilariously one of the weaker FFVII characters, this still means he's waaaay more powerful than pretty much Everyone Else.

Also! Please note his weapon! The Buster Sword is Not In Camp. It was left to mark Zack's grave. Zack has moved onto using his Fists a la Angeal. This actually powers him down significantly, since he's learning a new weapon. And if he really needed to kick ass he would pick up a sword temporarily.

The not dropping dropping meme, REVISITED WITH WHY I'M NOT DROPPING ANY OF THEM EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ELEVEN AND WANT MORE

Argilla- Tho she has the least play of any of my characters at the moment, that's mostly because she's one of my HIGH ENERGY CHARACTERS. She's not at all HARD to play, but bringing her out means having at least five threads with her, and I'm rarely like "yay let's have five threads right now!" lately. I will be again after you know. Moving. But.

I have no real thoughts of dropping her. She's one of those "I suppose I could" except that's only because she has the least play at the moment. She's not difficult to bring out in that "I don't WANT TO PLAY HER" way. She's easy to play. I love her. Her threads tend to be really emotional though which often means I don't have the energy to do it a lot.

Ed- I've given up on the idea of ever not playing Edward Elric. He is glued to my soul like a leech. My canon is amazing right now, and I've reread most of his canon at this point. I love him. Rereading his canon reminded me that I'M NOT MEAN ENOUGH so I've been. Working on that. Only he can also have really nice or very zen moments. So I'm working on that too. I will never drop Ed. It literally just. doesn't even rank as a possibility in my mind.

Kaworu- I have no desire to drop Kaworu and I enjoy playing him a lot! But the problem with him is that lack of canon periodically stabs me in the gut and a part of me is ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT WHAT IF CANON KNEECAPS ME. And the fact that I haven't been able to GET the next issue is really making me twitchy. I feel like I'm doing more character building at this stage than I usually would (Ticky, Luke and Kira all get a LOT but. I've had them for a year or more and am quite comfortable with them). And yes. He's not getting out as much as he should but he got out a lot right away so I don't really mind this. He needs to meet people who AREN'T GINGERBREAD KIDS and have more gay threads with Shinji. But all in all I entertain no secret desire to drop him. RATHER I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY HIM MORE AND WITH MORE CONFIDENCE IF ONLY MY NEXT CHAPTER WOULD COME OUT

Kira- Is. my main. Wow I never expected that to happen. I sometimes find it rather concerning that he is meeting people and developing relationships and getting involved in people he... really has no reason to. Not because they DON'T HAVE GOOD REASONS but because he's Kira and. Yes. But I also feel like it's right, that since he's in camp for selfish purposes he finally begin developing his own life beyond just 'passing time until I see Setsuna again'. Anyway. I would rather cut off a finger than drop Kira.

Jacuzzi- SO FUN. SO ADORABLE. i love playing him. and being adorable. He's too new to have any possible thoughts of dropping him. By LOOKING AT HIM NOW he's one of those character I could feasibly end up dropping one day, since unlike some of my others (Kira, Argilla, Kaworu) there is no real... pull to keep him in camp. I don't mean lacking a cast, I mean his future beyond camp isn't tragic or sucky and I don't feel like I'm saving him from anything (ISN'T IT SAD THAT I SERIOUSLY THINK OF MY CHARACTERS LIKE THIS? "MUST KEEP THEM IN CAMP SO THEY CAN BE HAPPY"). If I keep Jacuzzi forever it will either be because I never tire of playing him or because he forms relationships I don't want to let go of. Most likely the latter, as that's the MAIN REASON I FAIL AT DROPPING PEOPLE.

Luke- Despite the fact that I'm not playing Luke as much as I would like, and sucking at keeping up with relationships lately. That's A) Only because he's just come off of being my main for a long while and B) Irrelevant because I will never drop Luke. He's up there with Kira and Ed in the... I can't fathom ever doing that. It's not a matter of JUST the results of his canon, or the fact that I love his relationships. I just. I dunno. I can't imagine it. I love him with every corner of my soul and not playing him as much as I used to hasn't in any way dented this. It's more like I'm secure enough with him that a semi-hiatus means nothing.

Reborn- I would only drop Reborn if I was forced down to a certain character limit. Reborn has no reason to ever be dropped. He's hilarious, easy to play, and a godmoding baby. I can use him for hyjinks or just as a plot device. I'm not as SINGULARLY ATTACHED as I am to Luke, Ed and Kira. But... I just can't see a reason to drop him since he costs no effort and I do love playing him when I do. Lately I haven't been doing it as much just because my energy levels are too low for crack. But it doesn't really mean he's in any danger.

Plus, someone else might reapp him if I dropped. And Reborn is ONE OF THOSE CHARACTERS where I would slaughter someone for playing him wrong.

Ticky- Ticky is my fourth and last big I COULD NEVER DROP HIM characters. I love Ticky forever. He's the crazy bloodthirsty tragic loving accepting honest pathetic terrifying part of my soul. I can never let him go. And that's just. All there is to it. Ticky will be here tormenting camp for as long as I can type )=

Vash- is another "I could drop if..." but for various reasons I have DECIDED NOT TO and thus basically won't. It's generally speaking easier for me to keep a character than to drop him, and I have OOC reasons for keeping him. Unlike some of the others, who I suffer a bit of guilt for not playing as much, Vash is actually ICly very bad at maintaining relationships. He is a loving and awesome guy but he's NOT the follow you everywhere and love you always jesus. He does his thing and moves on. So I don't feel bad about the fact that he's not establishing as many relationships as he could, and that he's a very backburner character. Getting him a FEW more relationships (Spike and Soubi) has basically put him exactly where I want him and I'm content with that.

Viral- again "I could drop if..." Only UNLIKE THE OTHERS there isn't really anything ICly holding him here. Not that I don't enjoy this threads and his few relationships! Far from it. It's just that Viral HIMSELF is not attached enough to make me really attached. He's very much the "I could move on at any time" type and he always will be. I don't drop Viral purely because I love him and I know if I did I would never again be able to rewatched Gurren Lagann without pain and sadness. I would end up reapping him. I do need to get him out a BIT more, and maintain his relationships (he's one of the characters that WOULD be better about that) but all in all he's meant to be a back burner type and I'm fairly okay with that.

Zack- "I could drop if my wife hadn't threatened to kill me". I almost did drop Zack at one point and then wife enacted pretty much all of her saved up topping points. I will keep Zack indefinitely specifically because SOMEONE I LOVE ACTUALLY LOVES HIM THAT MUCH.

That said, I'm in no way inclined to drop him atm. I'm... not as attached as I REALLY SHOULD BE and that's my only concern )= But I'm playing his game and I DO LOVE HIM and I enjoy playing him and he's not difficult to play. I haven't... clicked as well as I would like, is the only thing. And with a MAIN CHARACTER TYPE who should be OUT THERE MEETING PEOPLE ALL THE TIME AND MAKING FRIENDS AND SUCH he's the one I feel worst about not playing him as much as he should be played. But I don't feel like I'm playing him badly at all. But I do really like playing him when I DO. And I should really dedicate a WEEK TO ZACK to get him some relationships outside of his canon, because that's the main thing that makes me bring out characters more in the future (See: Kira, Ticky, Luke)

Unlike other people I don't really, rate who I would drop first. Because there's too many factors involved, and it's not as simple as "who I like to play the least" because honestly I don't have any great difficulty with any of my remaining characters. Kaito was giving me trouble and he's gone and. I suppose that's the one thing that WILL get me drop. But I really generally don't have a hard time PLAYING. It's just how much I feel inclined to play them, how much energy they take, who they know in camp, how close I am to the mun's of who they know in camp, how much I love the character in their canon, and so on. So for me a LIST OF DROPPING actually looks like:

Droppable: Argilla, Kaworu, Jacuzzi, Reborn, Vash, Viral, Zack

Not Droppable: Ed, Kira, Luke, Ticky

Except there is no one on my droppable list I feel any urge to drop. It's just like. These are people I could feasibly function without. Meanwhile the other four I would actually CONSTANTLY LOSE SLEEP without. Because that's how pathetic I am.

HELLO KIDS.

So. As you may have noticed there are many among us who can do wicked things with a pentablet and/or mouse, and color beautiful icons. They have done wondrous memes.

I am not one of those people )=

BUT! I do like coming up with icon schemes. DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT FROM ACTUALLY COLORING ICONS because it doesn't require the ability to draw on any level, but fun and pretty none-the-less! Having gone through a large portion of the Dgray cast (and then... slowed down after about fifteen icons per) and then recently busied myself with Angel Sanctuary cast for no real reason it occurs to me that what I really want to do is come up with icon schemes and then not have to actually do 100 icons to complete a set. TO THAT END.

IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST, PLEASE ALLOW ME TO WORK OUT A ICON COLOR SCHEME FOR A CHARACTER OF YOURS.

This is how it works!

You provide me with the character and some uncropped images. I would prefer to not directly edit any of your existing icons. But a few pages of manga and then specifying this face or that is fine. The higher the quality the better! But I don't mind doing some clean up.

You tell me about the character, especially this is necessary if I don't know your canon! What are their hair and eye color (infact a canon colored image of them is great!). What is their personality like? What colors do YOU associate with them?

I snag the images and poke around in photoshop until I come up with a style that I think looks good across five or so icons and keeps in mind the things you requested/mentioned. Then show it to you!

You tell me if you want anything changed or have a problem with it. How things look vary from monitor-to-monitor and in THIS CASE I want it to look best on YOUR monitor. So if the yellows are too washed out, or if the pink looks brown, let me know and I'll change it around. Or if you just don't like the overall look and want me to take another stab at it. THAT IS ALSO FINE. I take critique well ♥

They still saw each other fairly frequently. That was perhaps the most unexpected thing about Ticky's new life, without the Noah. He'd always had a good sense of what the Noah did to him, how it had changed things. Complaining about it, now or then, would have been pointless, and regret impossible. Even now he wasn't entirely certain he wouldn't take the Noah back, given a chance. But living without it, was, as expected, not so bad.

But the thing about being the only one in his head again was that there was finally room for things that had never been able to exist along side that insistant voice. Guilt brought up mixed feelings, and he didn't dwell on it much, what was done was done, after all. But thanks to 'guilt' he'd made the choice to leave Sohma Shigure to his life in peace. Torturing a man he'd thought of as a friend over the better course of a year was one of the few things he honestly regretted doing in his Black life. The rest of it was all circumstance, and he wasn't wasting any tears over dead exorcists or those hero types that had come at him with so much righteous fury. In fact, he suspected if he had the power left he would still do it again. But Shigure, he felt, deserved to have a life free of Ticky Mikk.

Which made it surprising when the man had started to come around of his own will. Ticky didn't mind, and it wasn't awkward, since he'd never been particularly well acquainted with shame even before his Noah. So they smoked cigarettes, and Ticky built card houses while Shigure poked around looking for ways to make him miserable. It was comfortable, and he enjoyed it, and Shigure left frustrated more often than not, but would always pop up again. And eventually, Ticky started poking back.

That had gone over well, he'd thought. It turned out Shigure could throw a very decent punch. And while he knew that he probably deserved every hit, Ticky had never in his life taken an attack lying down and was hardly about to start. So he'd hit him back.

It turned out to be more their speed, though Ticky never really have pegged Shigure as the type to get physical, it seemed there really was always a way to bring it out in everyone. The chance to finally be able to fight back, after so much time being completely helpless, must have been irresistible. And really, Ticky was more than happy to oblige.

He wasn't keeping count, but he thought he won more often than not. Shigure apparently had some sort of training or other, but Ticky had superior strength, weight, and the experience of a lifetime living on the streets. If it didn't stop at one punch each, it spiraled out into a brawl, until one of them was pinned or both were too tired to continue, or Shigure got disgusted with the fact that this was also Pleasure for Ticky and just walked away.

Walking away wasn't an option this time, though the disgust was certainly there. Ticky sat on Shigure's stomach, driving the wind out of him, and leaned hard on one forearm laid over Shigure's neck, forcing Shigure to use both hands to keep Ticky from crushing his windpipe. It offered Ticky a nice view, and he smiled down at the other. "And here we are again."

"I haven't gotten tired of hitting you yet."

"Go on then." Ticky put a little more weight over Shigure's neck. "Let's see if you can keep that up with just one hand."

Though he looked like he wanted to try it, Shigure opted for continuing to breathe over giving him a black eye. "You won't kill me."

"No, but when you start a fight I don't have a problem putting you in a lot of pain."

"You started it!"

"You started this."

And that couldn't really be denied, not when Ticky had never once sought out Shigure since losing his Noah, so the only response he got was a glare and "Get off me".

Generally, Ticky stopped when it hit this point. Let Shigure dust himself off and go back to tend his wounds and hide the bruises, so the people who cared about him wouldn't guess he was getting into fist fights with the probably still very dangerous Ticky Mikk. Generally. Today he ignored it. This was comfortable and familiar in ways it probably shouldn't be.

"What do you keep coming back here for, Shigure?"

Shigure actually laughed at that, lips twisting bitterly. "Because I hate you, haven't you noticed?"

"I've noticed you don't hate me half as much as you'd like to," he said, and when Shigure's look turned guarded, continued, "That episode in my body really got to you, didn't it? You're just too human."

"You could be." Shigure's stubby nails were digging in and drawing blood from his arm now.

"More human? I always have been. That was the problem." There was something like a tug of wistfulness on his consciousness, and Ticky absently closed it down. "We have a bad bond, Shigure."

"Fine, I won't come back."

"That'd be best for you. But you will anyway." Ticky paused a moment, then leaned forward fully, watching as Shigure fought to keep his neck from being crushed. "It's that sort of bond you can't break." The last was said with Ticky's lips just brushing Shigure's, and he had moment to catch feel of the other's strained alarm before kissing him.

There was no point to being gentle, but no particular drive to be rough. Though that much changed when Shigure, unable to use his hands, opted for his teeth instead. Ticky bit back, refused to give any ground on the kiss because if he did it would end, and they both bled a little. When he finally withdrew his tongue so they could gasp for air, Shigure decided he didn't need to breathe so much as hit him after all. The punch landed on the side of his head and didn't have much power at this range, and Ticky was just barely able to roll off before he really did crush Shigure's throat.

Ticky lay out on the ground, smudging the blood at his lips with a thumb, and next to him Shigure sat up. He combed black hair out of his face and probably had that tired and disdainful look on, though Ticky wasn't watching him directly.

"I won't come back," Shigure said.

Ticky snorted and fished out a cigarette. He lit his smoke while Shigure walked away.
